BIM@60: 60 Years. 60 Songs. One Nation's Soundtrack

BIM@60 invites Barbadians everywhere to celebrate the music, and memories that continue to shape Barbados. As Barbados gets ready to mark 60 years of Independence, this initiative invites Barbadians everywhere — at home, overseas, online, in schools, in communities, in studios, in boardrooms, on stages and in the stands to help tell the story of who we are. BIM@60 is about turning national celebration into national participation.

Welcome to the Barbados Museum & Historical Society, the Home of Barbadian Heritage and Culture

Located in Barbados' UNESCO World Heritage Property of Historic Bridgetown and its Garrison, the galleries of the Barbados Museum & Historical Society are housed in 19th-century military prison buildings and reveal the island's rich natural, social and military history.
