The Conservation Department preserves and protects the artefacts under the Museum’s purview. This department is responsible for the collection care of the objects held by the museum on exhibition, on loan, and in storage. It undertakes conservation treatments as well as technical analysis and research on the wide variety of object types and provides conservation advice on all aspects relating to the use of objects within communities and institutions.
