The Barbados Museum & Historical Society in association with the Department of History and Philosophy of the University of the West Indies presents the 2024 Lecture Series.
As we celebrate 90 years of being the foremost authority on Barbadian history, heritage and culture, the Barbados Museum & Historical Society, through its Newton Development Subcommittee would like to host a series of seminars and in-person tours to accompany seminar themes monthly. The objectives of this engagement are to raise public awareness of the significance of the Enslaved Burial Ground at Newton and improve the site’s public accessibility.
